3D Production developer / engineer
MYCOTEX by NEFFA is looking for a new colleague who is skilled in the sphere of production of 3D moulds via established digital fabrication methods and/or more experimental methods such as 3D printing and robotics. Working alongside with our 3D Production developer and 3D Artist the job involves strategic thinking and design of production systems for various cases – from a single art work to a serial product production.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
- Design of 3D moulds for our application method based on various production techniques
- Establishing productions strategies for various products to be executed by our method
- Analysis of project’s scale, scope and specific requirements and identifying optimal moulding/production strategies
- Produce prototypes and test set-ups via our 3D manufacturing method
- Generate routines for robotic fabrication (ABB/ RAPID code) or at least have a basic understanding of computer controlled machinery (for example CNC)
Requirements
- Have at least 3-5 years of work experience in various production techniques (3D printing, casting, vacuum forming, etc.)
- Experience with robotics or other digital fabrication machinery
- Organised, yet flexible personality that will thrive in the volatile daily practice of a fast-growing startup where everyone is willing to incidentally take on tasks that are outside of their job description if the situation requires so
- Experience with graffiti spraying, airbrush or spray painting is a bonus
- Experience in the field of material science is a bonus
- Clear spoken and written communication in English (Dutch is not mandatory)
- Ability to work in Amersfoort, the Netherlands (in possession of a work permit coming from outside EU)
